Five Types Of Car Hire Insurance

1.    Personal Accident Insurance- Everything should be started from one’s self; even if it is car hire insurance. Personal accident insurance covers in case something happens [including death] to the passenger or renter during the hiring period.
2.    Loss Damage Waiver- This is often known as LDW. LDW covers whatever damage or loss happens to the car while it was on rental.
3.    Supplemental Liability Insurance- This type of insurance is company dependant and you may not have it by having car hire insurance. This insurance covers whatever [accidents] happens to a third party while during the period of rent.
4.    Excess insurance- This type of car hire insurance is not common in all countries. Paying an additional amount will fetch you some extra coverage through this insurance.
5.    Personal effects coverage- This coverage will give you compensation in case something happens to your persona belongings.
